Founded in 2009, AeroMIT is the Official Aeromodelling and Aerial Robotics Team of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), dedicated to designing, fabricating and flight-testing world-class autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles.

02 — The Method

The AeroMIT Method.

From computational aerodynamics and custom airfoil profiling to vacuum-assisted carbon fibre composite layup and embedded flight controllers, our multidisciplinary team of engineers operates on a rapid design-build-test prototyping cycle to compete in international aerospace championships like SAE AeroDesign East in the United States.

Every surface, rib and winglet is shaped through rigorous 3D CFD analysis and wind tunnel calibration for optimal lift distribution.

Precision Manufacturing

In-house autoclave and vacuum-infusion composite tooling ensure structural rigidity under extreme +6G flight loading.
